The Wallace Collection

The Project - To refurbish the existing galleries (four in total), to improve the lighting throughout within new purpose made lighting troughs, new silk wall coverings, new joinery (doors, frames, skirting's and architraves) new decorations (including gold leaf painting) and of course fixtures and fittings (including curtains, drapes, moldings grilles and brassware's etc). To also refurbish the existing courtyard and toilets.

The Challenge - To carry out the construction works with No disruption to the client, their staff and the general public (always maintaining a separate access route for construction staff during opening hours), all to ensure that the gallery, staff and general public were not disturbed at any time.

The Result - Four beautiful new galleries, including new improved lighting. A refreshed new restaurant within the courtyard and new user friendly toilets.
